How the name match works
Name compatibility is based on Pythagorean numerology, where every letter gets a value from 1 to 9 (A=1, B=2 … I=9, J=1 and so on). The letters' sum is reduced to a name number, while the master numbers 11, 22 and 33 are kept.
We compare three numbers for each name: the whole name (interplay), the vowels (communication) and the consonants (energy). Numbers in the same family – 1, 5, 7 · 2, 4, 8 · 3, 6, 9 – are considered to strengthen each other. The same pair of names always gives the same result.
Which names are compatible?
A high score means your name numbers are in harmony, a lower one that they contrast more – which can also make for a dynamic relationship. The name match is light-hearted, reflective inspiration and not a scientific assessment. To go deeper, the birth chart is a far richer basis.
